athalie collectors exhibition
November 17-20, 2022 Athalie, Minami Aoyama, Minato Ward, Tokyo
Thanks to the founder who studied art in Paris, the exhibition of the Japan Washi Photo Association was held at the art salon athalie, a special existence that has connected Japan with art and fashion artists and collectors for four generations. It is a great honor for the Japan Washi Photo Association to receive this award, and I believe it will be a major turning point in our future activities.
I would like to express my special thanks to Hiroko Hirayama, president of athalie, the staff, Mr. Sato and Mr. Ohashi, and the coordinator, Ms. Hisako Akashi. As an association, it is also significant that we have made a memorable step in selling high-priced works.

Kansai Exhibition
Saturday, February 5, 2022 11:00-21:00 February 6 (Sun) 10:00-16:00 Osaka City Central Public Hall
The second domestic exhibition was held at the Osaka City Central Public Hall, a nationally designated important cultural property, as a presentation event for the Japan Washi Photo Association. In particular, this time, the event was held in the midst of the Osaka Prefecture's priority measures to prevent the spread of the virus, and the event itself was in danger, but many people visited and it was a successful two days.
A Zoom exchange meeting was held with Mr. Yuriy Komlev, director of six museums, including the Orenburg Art Museum, and lecturer in natural history at Moscow University. At the same time, we connected with Ms. Natasha and Ms. Olga of the Orenburg Art Museum, who manage our works and lend them out to museums throughout Russia for traveling exhibitions, deepening exchanges with each artist.
A Zoom exchange meeting was held with Valeria, deputy director of the Ivan Goncharov Memorial Museum in Ulyanovsk, Russia, where the exhibition is currently being held. We had a meeting about future cooperation.
Mr. S, an important guest related to the mass media, came to visit us, and while he understood our artist support project, he thoroughly appreciated the many works. In addition, each writer exchanged opinions individually.・The Japanese paper photo frame (Kiri Open Frame) produced for this Kansai Exhibition was also well received.

Tokyo Exhibition
Saturday, October 30, 2021 9:40-21:00 Tokyo Bunkyo Civic Center
The commemorative first domestic exhibition was originally intended to bring together the works together to promote friendship among the members, but due to the fact that it overlapped with the start of the recruitment of enthusiast members and the facility located in the city center Because we were able to rent a large venue that normally accommodates 250 people, we decided to open it to the public as a large-scale event called Exhibition.
In addition, members from Nagasaki, Hyogo, Shiga, Toyama, and Gunma joined together with members from the Kanto region, and it was of great significance that members, who usually only communicated over the Internet, were able to interact directly with each other. have become.
This was the first event in Japan to showcase the works of the Japan Washi Photo Association, but hearing directly from the general public gave us the opportunity to deepen our confidence as artists, and _d04a07d8 -9cd1-3239-9149-20813d6c673b_It was a fulfilling event, selling photo books of each artist.
